About the job 

We’re looking for a mid-weight Project Manager to join our design agency, Future Present. This is a fixed-term contract for 12 months.

This is a fantastic and challenging opportunity for someone with a proven track record of project & client management.

This role will be office based 3 days a week - with the flexibility to work from home 1 day a week - where you’ll work alongside our team of: project managers, designers, developers and content writers, to ensure projects are delivered on time and on budget.

 

What You’ll do

  • Establish and maintain rigorous project management standards and best practices
  • Develop and execute robust project frameworks that ensure consistent, high-quality delivery
  • Conduct detailed project scoping, planning, and risk assessment across multiple concurrent projects
  • Create and maintain advanced project management documentation, including: 
    • Comprehensive project timelines
    • Detailed scope requirement tickets and documentation
  • Serve as the primary point of contact between internal teams and external clients
  • Maintain structured and consistent communication that align with client expectations
  • Implement advanced budget tracking and resource allocation methodologies
  • Facilitate comprehensive project retrospectives with the team
  • Execute end-to-end project lifecycle management with precision
  • Facilitate complex cross-functional team collaborations 
  • Proactively identify and resolve potential project risks and communicate these effectively
  • Manage and conduct quality assurance
  • Contribute to strategic business development efforts
  • Ability to help support and mentor junior project management team members
  • Able to identify opportunities for process optimisation and efficiency improvements

 

About you

  • Minimum of 2 years professional project management experience 
  • Strong proficiency in project management methodologies
  • Demonstrated ability to manage complex, multi-stakeholder projects
  • Strong communication and networking skills with a highly optimistic attitude and natural curiosity
  • Highly resilient with a self-starter attitude
  • Emotional Intelligence and natural empathy
  • Ability to work under pressure and to short deadlines
  • Quick thinking and eager to learn
  • Great organisational skills with razor like accuracy and attention to detail
  • Proactiveness with an ability to manage and prioritise your time
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Experience working in a B2B environment
